Making blueberry soap starts long before we ever step into the workshop.

First comes the tundra.

Finding the berries.

Picking them.

Bringing them home.

Then comes the slow work of drying, processing, and preparing them for soap making.

It's one of the most time-intensive ingredients we work with, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

People ask us all the time why we chose blueberries.

The answer starts long before the soap.

Wild Alaska blueberries are part of late summer here. They're woven into family traditions, long hikes, berry buckets, stained fingers, and afternoons spent wandering the tundra.

We wanted to create something that captured all of that.
