✨ I’ve always had an aversion to the thought of Christopher Columbus. Even though I was inundated with false history, I’ve instinctively known better since I was little.

🇵🇷 Being pulled from Puerto Rico at the age of 5, I remember crying and rebelling against the move — refusing to learn English, acting out in school, and holding tightly to the feeling that I needed to go home. 🐸💔

As I continue to grow and reconnect with my ancestors, I find pride and power in knowing I come from a fierce, resilient line of humans. 🌿🔥✨

Today, we don’t celebrate — today, we mourn our people. We honor the survivors of The Great Dying, a genocide so devastating it changed the very amount of CO₂ on the planet. 🌎🕯️

We are still here. ✊🏽🇵🇷🐸🌺

🐾✨ Throwback to May 2023 when me & my girl Persephone packed up the car and started the road trip of a lifetime 🚙💨. From Tampa 🌴 to Anchorage ❄️—mile after mile, state after state, all the way through North Dakota 🇺🇸 into Canada 🇨🇦.

We drove through the thick of the Canadian wildfires 🔥🌲, followed the long stretch of the Alaska Highway 🛣️, and finally crossed into the place we now call home 🏔️. It was smoky, wild, beautiful, exhausting, and magical all at once.

I wouldn’t have made this journey with anyone else but my sweet Persephone 🐶💖. She kept me grounded, safe, and loved the whole way.

🌙✨ This trip reminds me so much of what inspires my jewelry—adventure, resilience, and the beauty in the unexpected. Just like every piece I create, this journey was full of raw moments, imperfect roads, and the kind of wild magic you never forget.
