MODSPEEDSHOP all set up and ready for action at this year's TNS round at SpeedLot RC Raceway. We are excited to check out this bucket list track as we have not had the pleasure of racing at until now. Awesome facility, track, and probably the largest driverstand in the world at over 80 feet! Very warming welcome from the track owners Eric and Megan as well. We are looking forward to the weekend racing it up with the 8th scale family and if you guys need anything to keep those cars running or need hop ups trackside be sure to hit us up!

What an absolute blast at this years MOD Grand National Championship round here at Delta RC Hobbies & Race Park . With attendees from all over the West Coast and focusing on our Norcal friends we enjoy making the trip every year. Something was in the air this year and the local 1/8 and 1/5 crowd showed up in a big way topping 140 entries! A recorded breaking number for us for this event here. Thank you to all the racers for the support this year all the Delta staff and all the MOD crew for the hard work keeping the event on track. We will be back around the same time next year. Heaven on Earth. We are racing this weekend at Delta RC Raceway for the MOD Grand National Championship Series! Saturday start time is 10am for racing 8-930am for practice. See everyone soon and as always we will be Live all weekend long. Some awesome 5th and 8th scale racing coming your way!

MOD JERICHO 5th Scale Tires just got a restock! Your favorite compounts in hard, medium, soft, and now SUPER SOFT (PINK)! In all honesty we didnt think we needed such a soft compound but with the success and handling advantages we saw with our current soft compound we thought heck a super soft may take it to another level! The beauty of Jericho compounds is that its now become a setup tool to bias the front and rear characteristics run soft front super soft rear to really lock it in or heck medium rear and super soft front to have the front really dig in the corners and get more rotation or have it velcroed to the ground with super soft all the way around! These tires will shine when the track has more loam and is in cooler / cold conditions or watered. Hey Guys little over one week out from the MOD Championship Series for 5th scale at Delta RC Hobbies & Race Park May 29-31! We will have 8th scale classes as well and you guys finish on Saturday! So for all the locals with rigs be sure to bring them out! Always a great weekend with our Norcal Crew we always enjoy making it out every year. See you guys in a little over a week.

We can see the vision... Can you!? Potential location of MOD Hobbies 1/28 scale RC Speedway. Couple things to consider but we may have the opportunity for a pop up event to test the waters before we pull any triggers to test the size, capacity and what your guys thoughts are. Who would be down for a pop up event? We have much of the track already (purchase and been in cold storage) to put something on as well as timing system. You may have to bring power strip and table for the pop up race.
