Label in and strings on just in time for !!

Come see and hear this guitar and many more at the first New England Invitational Luthier Expo Thursday Oct. 23rd-26th at the URI Guitar and Mandolin Festival.

Putting together this Expo has been a joy and the best part is just around the corner! Can't wait to spend the weekend hanging out with and everyone else at the Expo, hope to see you there!

Chapman & Fisher no. 35 'Lilac Season'

Decided to take C&F no. 35 on a trip up to my favorite place in Vermont for a little R&R before we hit the road this autumn.

I'll be exhibiting this guitar at the New England Invitational Luthier Expo at 10th anniversary in October, and I think it'll come with me to Festival in November as well🙂 can't wait to see everybody there!

Materials: Swiss Spruce from
Malaysian Blackwood and Macassar Ebony laminated with European Pear, Bois de Rose Bridge, Snakewood bindings

I love the colors Ev put in this painting, she really captured the essence of the Tiger Lilies, and one Snapdragon to keep them company.

Swiss Moon Spruce top on C&F no. 35

The very last of our signature handmade 'fishscale' rosette. We'll be exploring other designs for a bit, so I'm not sure when I'll do this one again, though I do love it, so I'm sure I'll make more someday.

Interior of C&F no. 35 Macassar Ebony, Malaysian Blackwood, and Pear under shellac with Mahogany linings and Alaskan Yellow Cedar braces.

It's been a little while since Alan and I have built a guitar together under our shared label, I'm very excited for this one, a true melding of both our styles now that I've started to develop my own.

I love how the pear looks under finish, I may build a pear guitar soon.
