Established in 1984, Laughing Dog is a full-service bicycle store that hopes to go beyond sales & service to help nurture a vibrant culture of cycling in the Pioneer Valley. A downtown Amherst fixture, we provide state-of-the-art repair service, with mechanics fluent in everything from modern suspension, hydraulic braking, and electronic shifting to all eras of internally-geared hubs, vintage buil

ds, and the classic art of wheelbuilding. If there's something going on with your bike, our combined half-century of shop experience can get you rolling right. We're so sure of it that we offer a guarantee on our labor. As far as what we stock, we carry a wide array of bicycles from some of the industry's most respected brands: Trek, Knolly, Niner, Surly, and Soma. We are here in hopes that our love for cycling is contagious and that we can help you have the best time out there that you can, whether you're a first-time rider or a seasoned pro racer. Everyone is welcome at Laughing Dog, and it is our mission to make sure that you leave our shop loving the ride even more than you did when you came in.
