Starting the sad process of putting the open water gear away. Did you know that regular maintenance on your reels can add YEARS of life onto the reels, therefore, saving you money in the long run! You will be shocked to see how much dirt, dust and other debris that can accumulate over a season of fishing! Let me clean them for you or repair any damage your reels may have gotten! I do complete tear downs, grease/oil and clean to keep your gear running at 100%.

I am relaunching this endeavor and will be taking on some more business this fall and winter! I can work on almost any reels, low to high end. Very competitive pricing! I am located in Ankeny and prefer local, but can do shipping for fisherman based around the country.

Thanks for joining my page! I have started a reel cleaning and repair business. I am very experienced with all brands and types of reels. I have worked with 300+ dollar Shimano's and 10.00 Shakespeare's. Spinning reels, Baitcasters and Conventional Reels.

After years and years of cleaning my own, almost weekly, I decided I would open up a bit and do it as a little side gig!

Cleaning and lubing your reels will keep them running and save you money in the long run.

I live in Ames, you can drop off anytime or I will be making weekly trips to Ankeny for meetups to accommodate folks down south of me. You are also welcome to ship reels to me, but you will be responsible for all shipping costs.

I am able to do just about anything, but will focus on cleaning, oiling and lubing reels, upgrading your bearings and replacing missing parts.

The turn around will be quick, but will depend on how many reels I have to work on. I will have a decent stock of bearings and replacement parts built up as well.

Prices will be very competitive and will be based on reel, condition and brand.
