Fresh drop in my inbox from a recent bride. ✨

My favorite weddings are the ones where the flowers simply complement what’s already beautiful. From the bride, to the venue, to the love surrounding the day, the flowers were just a small bonus to the beauty already there.

Hannah, you were absolutely stunning. 😍

This wedding gave me the very best kind of vibes. Everyone was so happy during delivery and installation. No tension. No stress. Just genuine smiles and excitement for two people starting their next chapter together.

A little reminder: surround yourselves with people who help carry the weight of the day, not add to it. It shows in all the best ways.

I spend a lot of time making flowers for the start of new chapters. Today I got to make flowers honoring 90 years of chapters already written. Imagine all the people, places, memories, and stories packed into those nine decades.

Trialed some new cool season flowers this year. Anemone and Ranunculus. I have always been so intimidated by these two flowers for some reason. You have to get them in super early, and protect them until the weather is appropriate. It just seemed like so much work. BUT THEY ARE MY FAVORITES. So I took a chance and bought some. Naturally I got them in later than I wanted 🫣 I didn’t think I would get blooms since it is so hot already. BUT FRIENDS. Look at what I walked out to today. THEY ARE STARTING TO BLOOM. I can’t even believe it. You already know I’m growing a whole dang bed of these beauties next year!!! I’m simply mesmerized by this purple. And this little white ranunculus 😍 My flower heart is so full today. Yarrow is starting to put on a show as well. This hot pink is a stunner. And look at this feverfew. Move over babies breath!! 😍

While these initial blooms are reserved for my lovely subscribers, hopefully they give us a full flush and I can share them with all of you! Stay tuned! 🫶🏼

Just a little sneak peak at Hannah and Cameron’s wedding that we flowered last Friday. I cannot get over how beautiful of a bride Hannah was and how absolutely dreamy The Farmhouse at Emmett Ridge is. Highly recommend this venue if you’re in the market for a venue space! 🖤

After finishing up 80% of the garden tasks FINALLY, we got to spend some time at one of my most favorite places this weekend. My parents backyard 😊
Almost my entire childhood was spent here, and I’m so happy my kids get to grow up here too. We picked fresh Mulberries and Blueberries. Fished. Made a fire and had s’mores. The most perfect weather this weekend!! I hope you all got to get out and enjoy it as well!☀️

Congratulations on your retirement!! 💜

Finally at the point where we can start snipping from the gardens. Everything you see in this arrangement came from outside! I did buy the dahlias last week as mature plants. I can’t help myself. As soon as I see them in store, I always buy a couple for extra early blooms. And these two do not disappoint! It’s go time friends, and I’m jumping for joy!
