Robbie had another fun class yesterday. I love the different colored shirts, they all turned out very festive. We discussed when reverse applique first started, we thought in the 80s maybe. Does anyone remember it before then?

Surprise Pop Up Class - Foundation Paper Piecing Woven Stars. I saw this beautiful block and thought I just had to try it. It is so fun and a lot easier than I thought. Join me June 11th from 1:00-5:00 and I will show you how to create the blocks using foundation paper piecing and then turn them into a Patriotic Table Topper or Table Runner. Class and Kit $35, this includes the Foundation Paper and fabric. I am so addicted, I get perfect points, I think I'm going to make a Christmas one also.

This is the last week of our "Happy Anniversary" month. Saturday was the official last day of our machine sale but, don't worry. These lovely ladies finished their table topper just in time for Memorial Day. Robbie had a great class yesterday. A couple of the ladies are expert piecers and a couple are just learning and it was a fun project for all skill levels. We have a couple of kits left if you would like to whip one up before Monday.

Just a reminder, Baby Lock Serger class is this Saturday, 2:00-5:00. You will learn not just threading, which remember, is so easy. You will also be learning all the stitches, flatlock, rolled hem, blanket stitch, etc and basic serging techniques like beginning and ending a seam, turning corners and gathering.
