Welcome to The Rooted Ruby

The Rooted Ruby was born in January of 2018. I had felt a tug at my heart to do something that made me happy and this page was the result of that tug. I have always loved creating beautiful gifts and making people happy with things that I have created. At the start of the new year, I found the courage to share that love with the world and then….TA-DA…The Rooted Ruby was created.

So why The Rooted Ruby?

I decided to name this page The Rooted Ruby based on two scriptures. The first being: Colossians 2:7 but more specifically, “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him”. I want Christ to be the root of anything I do and everything I create. All glory to Him. The second scripture comes from Proverbs 31:10, specifically, “She is more precious than rubies”. This is in the first scripture of a passage that describes the virtues of a woman of valor. It’s my prayer that through my creations I promote the 10 virtues of a Proverbs 31 woman: Faith, marriage, motherhood, health, service, financial wisdom, work, homemaking, time and beauty.
