Sold a red cedar table with red epoxy highlights that was in my garage Taking up space. Haha learned a valuable lesson. Don't build big projects unless you have a buyer lined up already. Nevertheless it is a pretty table and the client loves it.

It's been awhile since I posted anything but with the warm weather lately I decided to get my sawmill fired up and cut some 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 6' pieces for table legs and increased my stock pile of red cedar. I'm thinking of doing another one like this one. I may just make it plain with out the river but undecided for now. I do have these book end pieces that would make a beautiful river table though.

I've been working on 2 book-end matching pieces. They're 9 feet long and I could make a beautiful office river table about 32 inches wide. I hate to cut them up shorter but may have to since I've had this page for about 5 years and haven't even had anyone ask for pricing or special orders or anything. I've got a house full of furniture and no room for an office table especially with epoxy at about $100.00 a gallon. It's a dilemma. I love building with epoxy but I've had a beautiful dining room table in my garage for 5 years and have marked it down to $800.00 and don't even get anyone trying to haggle pricing. People in this area want beautiful furniture but at Walmart prices. If anybody is interested in a beautiful handcrafted table for a reasonable price call me at (806)681-5671. Thank you. My wife wanted me to make her a spice rack and this is what I came up with. The shelves are spaced 7", 6", 5", and 2 1/2" to accommodate different size containers and dowel rods to keep them from falling out. It measure 23"×23"×5". It has some red and black epoxy in some knot holes.

I had a board develop a Crack about 2 feet long on the dining room table shown on my cover page so I took the top off legs. I then ripped the boards down the seams cutting out the bad board. I took this opportunity to rebuild the table and put some red epoxy in some holes to pep it up. I shortened the tables profile by cutting off the live edge and routered a 45° edge around it giving it a nice clean look. The base was fine so I was able to reuse it. It still seats six. The first picture was before rebuild.

I know I haven't posted anything in a while but I was doing a table repair on the table on my wall, fixing a board Crack. And my 18 year old Craftsman table saw decided to retire. Parts are unavailable to purchase so I'm looking to buy a new one.. They were alot cheaper in 2004. Shaft is destroyed.

I finished with the cane/umbrella caddy. 23 holes were alot of work but turned out nice. I put a little bit of black epoxy in some holes in the wood and put blue felt in the bottom holes on the caddy. Not much wood but alot of work involved. Put on wheels for moving ease.

I bought a 2" forstner drill bit because it cuts flat. The pieces turned out alright. Now I am going to fill some holes on the side boards with epoxy. I think I'm going to put felt in the bottom holes.

I layed out the pattern for all the holes. 23 holes on each board. Top ones go all the way through, the bottom only about 1/4" deep.
