Seriously considering another trip just for this food. 😩

We had the privilege of chatting with the owners, and their heart for this place shines through in every detail.

We tried:
• Empanadas
• Stuffed poblano pupusa
• Birria tacos
• Yucca fries
• Lemon cake

And the margaritas… 😩 The seasonal lychee margarita was unlike anything I’ve had before, fresh, unique, and absolutely worth ordering.

They’re opening a second location later this year, and I already can’t wait for another visit.

Put Golden Waffle Company on your list to stop at in Amarillo! 🧇☕️

First off, Dwayne (and all the staff) was so kind and welcoming. You can tell they really care about creating a place where people can gather, eat good food, play games, and just enjoy time together.

As someone who’s gluten-free, I was SO excited to see the menu clearly marked with gluten-free options… and there were a ton. 😂

We ended up doing a sweet and savory and splitting both!

One thing you can’t skip? The Waffle Browns, their signature waffle-shaped fried hash browns. Crispy, unique, and delicious.

Add in great coffee, games to play at your table, and a welcoming atmosphere, and you’ve got a fun stop whether you’re a local or just passing through Amarillo.
