As everyone knows by now, Lahaina on Maui was decimated by the wildfires less than a month ago. Several members of our club reached out to Jody Bright (our beloved Randy Bright's brother) and asked what we could do to help. Our board has approved sending a direct donation from our charitable funds to the Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club to assist, but more is still needed. The way Jody and the Hawaii BGFC closely resembles our Hurricane Harvey Relief fund which Randy spearheaded, which got money in the hands of those who needed it most very quickly without the red tape.
