Never forget that things work out when you’re in the place that you’re supposed to be and they don’t when you’re not. I’ve been trying to do ice cream in my freeze dryer since I got it, and when I was in my last location, in my unhealthy situation, I couldn’t make it work no matter what I tried. Even some of my candy was very unstable . Some days It would be perfect and some days it would be a bust.
Everything I have put in my freeze dryer in my new peaceful environment has worked more beautiful than ever before. I have had multiple compliments that my freeze dried candy is the best they’ve ever had. I don’t do anything different y’all. I just know that I’m where I’m supposed to be. And I’m so grateful.
Ice cream taught me that lesson and opened my eyes to it. It’s the little things that fall into place when you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Big news, sweet friends!
I’m in a whole new chapter of my life, and my little candy biz is coming with me, because SUGAR 😜❤️ never broke my heart. The name “That’s My Sugar” belonged to an old situation and a relationship I’ve now let go of, and I’m so proud to be rebranding my life from the inside out.
The candy is still crunchy, fun, and full of smiles—only now the name finally fits the woman behind it.
Say hello to my new name: ALTERED SUGAR CANDY CO. I”ve got so many ideas that I now have time to cultivate. It’s about to get WILD in here. 
Thank you for loving me and my small business through every high, low, and plot twist. Your support means the world as I heal, grow, and build something that is truly mine.

What an incredible turnout for our first event of the second season at the Original Crawfish Gator Fest in Alvarado, Texas! We are delighted to have sold out and would like to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who attended. The event was a huge success, thanks to the wonderful attendees and the Cajun Navy's participation. Everything was executed flawlessly, showcasing exceptional professionalism. We are already looking forward to next year and can't wait to see what the future holds.
