Well friends, it’s time for us to make a sad announcement. While we were hoping to reopen this summer until the termination of our lease on Aug 1st, we have been forced to leave this week despite prepaying in December until at least June 1st. While we never truly had the opportunity to give you our full vision that we had for the Alton Country Store, due to many indoor and outdoor restrictions, you all have given us more than we could have ever dreamed of and when we say we are so grateful from the bottom of our hearts, we truly mean it! From our very first day, opening our small store in my hometown, thru the challenges of Covid and selling masks off the front porch, learning how to build a website and traveling more than 1500 miles to make contactless free deliveries just around the Alton area, to now today having 4 Tanger Outlet storefront (The Country Store - NH & TCS Home & More, The Country Store Rehoboth Beach, DE, ProGear Outfitters Tilton, our little store in Alton Bay and our The Country Store- Lincoln, NH Location.

Not a day goes by that we don’t continue to work tirelessly to make an awesome experience for our customers. We hope that you all will continue to come in and visit us at our other locations. Seeing the friendly faces that we have grown to know so well, will certainly continue to be our biggest joy.

As we get moving here on a Sunday morning, we would like to remind our valued customers and Facebook followers that we will never request personal information or credit card information from you online or over the phone. We had someone attempt to do so earlier this morning to one of our valued customers at The Country Store - NH. We usually don’t advertise things like this but we are excited to announce that we are opening another business venture near us at Tanger Outlets, Tilton. (Right next to Rue 21) We hope all of our valued customers that have supported us so much over the past two years, will come check out our new store that opens on April 1st called ProGear Outfitters. Featuring working gear for a multitude of industries. From First Tactical clothing, Game Sportswear, Zavaté Scrubs/ Sanita Clogs, Ariat Gear, Carhart / Chinook/ Royer / Rocky Brands/ Muck Boots and much much more, we hope to provide you with a resource for all of your needs at a local and reasonable price! We have even partnered with Xtreme 603 Apparel to help you with your screen printing & embroidery needs for a one stop shop. Please like our page at ProGear Outfitters.

We will also be offering Business allowance accounts and First responder discounts.

Starting next week we will have coupons that we will be giving out for our new store opening, when you stop in to The Country Store!
