We wanted to make everyone aware that the water level in the harbor has significantly dropped overnight due to a late-scheduled draw down by the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Because of the lower water level, getting boats on and off lifts may be more difficult than usual, particularly for boats with limited clearance.
Please use extra caution when operating your boat or attempting to use your lift. The same caution applies to the public launch ramp, where the lower water level may affect launching and retrieving vessels. Anyone who would like to get their boats temporarily off of a lift and move to H Dock until water levels stabilize should call the office for further instructions.
Water levels are controlled by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, and these changes likely coincide with the recent heavy rainfall in the upper river basin and adjustments being made to manage river levels.
As always, we will continue to monitor conditions and keep everyone informed of any significant changes.
Please use caution and don’t hesitate to contact the Marina office with any questions.
