I've had the opportunity to work closely with some of the world's great concert pianists in my 23 years as the concert technician to the Utah Symphony and as the concert technician for several major universities and music festivals. My Steinway experience comes through 20 years as the head technician for Daynes Music in Salt Lake City, one of the most prolific Steinway dealers in the country. Armed with a BMus. degree in piano performance and my 26 years working exclusively on Steinway pianos I am able to discern what needs to be done to make a piano special.
