The Salvation Army - Alpena Thrift Store Store shopping 10am to 5pm Monday - Saturday. Donations accepted 10am to 4pm Monday through Saturday. Do not drop off donations after hours.

We are a Christian Mission helping those in Alpena County with gifts of Grace and would love to get to know you. We need community support to do God's work, so we ask that you donate to our store. Thank you for supporting your local Salvation Army Thrift Store! we appreciate all your support without you we wouldn’t be able to have the furniture, clothing,linens, household items we have to sell at our store! Store hours are Monday-Saturday 10-5 and our Donation Hours are 10-430 Monday-Saturday. Friday and Saturday are our 5 for 5 Days

In 1917, Salvation Army “Donut Lassies” served fresh donuts to soldiers during World War I to bring comfort, encouragement, and a taste of home. Today, we continue that tradition by celebrating the people who serve our communities every day.

We are excited to announce that our Summer Food Service Program is back! Our first pick-up date is on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. As a reminder, food pick-up is from 11am-1pm OR until we run out (WHICHEVER COMES FIRST). Pick up is each Wednesday through August 26, 2026. This is a FIRST COME program; we cannot hold/reserve items. We ask that you only pick-up for the number of children in your household so we can feed as many kids as possible.
