Walk through downtown and you'll find over 30 pieces of public art and a variety of architectural styles including Italianate, modernist, and more! Alpena is the third largest city in Northern Michigan, and our downtown is proud to be the commercial and cultural heart of our community.

Displays go up on Friday 6/5 and will be finished by 5:00 pm. Check them out anytime over the course of the weekend!

From Thursday through Sunday, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We’ve put together the full weekend schedule, including event times and locations, so you can plan your visit and make the most of all the fun.

Shop, dine, explore, and celebrate Flower Fest with us in Downtown Alpena. We can’t wait to see you there!

🌸🍻 The 2nd Annual Petal Pub Crawl is TONIGHT in Downtown Alpena! 🍻🌸

Check in between 5:00–7:00 PM at Center Alley (behind Mango's Tequila Bar) to grab your instructions and free floral swag (while supplies last).

Then explore participating bars and taprooms in any order from 5 PM until close. Collect flower cards, upgrade your hand at each stop when you buy a drink, and build the best bouquet possible for a chance to win Downtown Dollars!

Before you head home, place your cards in your event envelope and drop it in any floral collection bag at a participating location.

Volunteers will be at each stop until 9:30 PM, and winners will be announced on Monday, June 8.

Gather your friends, wear your floral flair, and enjoy a blooming good night downtown! 🌷✨

Participating stops: PIFCider, HopSide Brewery, Latitudes Tavern, The Black Sheep, Rusty's Corks & Cocktails, The Old Polish Corner, and Player's Pub & Grub.
