Yesterday found ReLiteration Used Books at its usual Memorial Day post selling beach books at the Croswell flea market when this fellow drifted past. Oh, to have had my camera out and ready!! Flea markets are , of course, beyond parallel for people-watching. But never before had we seen a dragon. Its body was completely out of our sight line. Only its head was visible calmly perusing the selection. Sadly it found nothing to its liking. The Reluctant Dragon in the flesh. You were a sight to behold.

Recently featured in Detroit Area Collectibles, this beauty published in Tokyo in 1941. Red cloth covering the boards is deteriorating but still lovely. The clasps ( ivory?) in working order. Two volumes complete, $50. In stock at ReLiteration.
