SOLVED!
If you have an Android and recently your Spotify (or other media) player isn't showing up on your lock screen, we have found the solution!
Simply go to settings > lock screen and AOD > now bar. Under the "live notifications" menu, simply turn on "audio broadcast". The play controls will appear at the bottom between the phone and camera icons on your lock screen. Tap on the album picture to expand, swipe down to collapse. You're welcome! 😎

Just upgraded the RAM to 8GB, installed a 500GB media hard drive, and threw a new battery in there for good measure! And yes, the DVD drive works!
