South Whitehall stationery store the paperbag will close its brick-and-mortar storefront later this month after 44 years.

The Paperbag Update – Semi Retirement❤️
After 44 wonderful years in Allentown, we’ll be closing our storefront on January 31, 2026. We can’t thank you enough for your love, loyalty and support — you’ve made The Paperbag more than just a shop; you’ve made it a community.
But this isn’t goodbye! 💌
We’ll still be offering our custom invitations, personalized stationery, personalized holiday cards and personalized design services (programs, place cards, envelopes, etc!) — just in a new way. Stay tuned for an announcement in February!
