It’s been a busy month at Cassandra Strings!

As the school year wrapped up, our team has been hard at work helping teachers prepare for final concerts, making sure rental returns and end-of-year pickups go smoothly, and supporting students through the last notes of the season.

Behind the scenes, we’ve also been giving our Algonquin location a fresh new look with some updated paint and improvements, while continuing to grow our social media presence so we can better connect with our music community.

While it can be a busy time of year, it’s also one of our favorite seasons. Seeing students perform, helping schools finish the year successfully, and staying connected with the families and educators we serve is what makes it all worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of another great school year. We’re excited for what’s ahead!

This violin just had a makeover! We are hard at work cleaning and repairing our rental instruments so they are pristine for new renters this fall 🎻

We hope you enjoy some time with family and friends as we also take time to honor and remember our country's fallen service members. Thank you for your continued support of our shop and community.

It’s Spring Music Recruitment Season!

Many parents are starting to receive information from their schools about joining orchestra or band this fall. If that brought you to our page, welcome!

We know that starting music for the first time can feel a little overwhelming. Choosing an instrument, understanding rentals, and talking with teachers about all the details can feel like a lot. The good news is, we’ve been helping teachers and families for over 30 years, so we understand the questions, worries, and excitement that come with starting this journey.

We want to talk about the many benefits of joining orchestra and band, because learning an instrument is about so much more than music.

Just a few of the benefits include:

Congratulations to West Chicago High School on a fantastic Spring Concert!

We were honored to see Cassandra Strings included in your program. Thank you for the kind words and for allowing us to be part of something so meaningful. It’s been a privilege to support your Mariachi program this year.

Moments like this are exactly why we do what we do. It’s never about recognition. It’s about the students, the growth, and the opportunity to help music programs continue to evolve and reach more young musicians.

We’re proud to support educators and schools as they create new opportunities for students and bring even more voices and traditions into their music programs. Bravo to everyone involved in such a special performance!
