Weekly Update.

Spent the week with Scott C, Ben,Pat, and Myself on a string of farms about 10 in our southern area we plant.

We left on Tuesday morning at 530 on a 4 day run.

We had four tractors that went down with us two were on discs one on a grain drill and one on a Corn Planter.

Disced 225 acres
planted 130
sprayed 130 acres

We did all this over a four day time. Including travel.
I am truly blessed with a great group of employees

We broke down, probably 6 to 8 different times from flat tires to pioneer fittings exploding a hydraulic leak on each of the big Fendts that run the planters.

Part of my reason for putting this post is to give some kudos to Lindstrom Equipment This is the second time this has happened. It happened a year ago and it happened last night again we had hydraulic issues with some leaks. I contacted their after hours department at about 6 o’clock Friday night that we had two tractors down and how we are in our craziest possible time of the year. the after hour service manager told me he’d call me back in 10 minutes. which he did exactly that. he already had set up that their technician, that he was calling in to get us up and running wanted us to bring the tractors to our shop instead of dropping them off at theirs and he’d be up here waiting for us when we got home from planting on Saturday morning. I told them how important it was to have this equipment running by Monday they acknowledge that was not gonna be a problem. I am here to tell you they set the bar for an implement dealer. They came out today at 11:30 had us running by 2 o’clock. We are ready to go for Monday, none of our customers will be affected by our breakdowns, which is kudos to Lindstrom Equipment.

Planted 30ish acres today. This rig and our corn planter put pre emerge down while planting. Had 2 high speed discs running today also. We are setup to plant, disc, and spray a 120 acres next week.
