We are Sibila and Katya, a mother/daughter duo who took over the shop in the heart of Old Town, Alexandria in 2012. Since then, we have redesigned the space, introduced new jewelry and are proudly featuring our favorites throughout our shop. Our personal styles are very much reflected in the store. Together, we research the latest trends and work with a number of talented designers nationwide to s
howcase and bring our delicate, feminine and minimalistic pieces to you. We pride ourselves on selecting dainty and simple jewelry perfect for layering and enhancing your everyday look. In the midst of another whirlwind buying trip, I'm struck by the importance of pausing and aligning with what truly resonates with my soul in these moments.
A decade ago, I embarked on this chapter of my career with a frenzied pace—darting from one show to another, attending every meeting and social event. I spent a lot of time trying to be everywhere all at once. But today, I've embraced a new rhythm—one of deliberate slowness and intentionality. I learned to listen to my gut first and foremost — without doubt and without fear of failing or making a mistake.
Each market show offers a chance for recalibration. Over the years, I've honed the art of buying, allowing me to redefine the process on my terms. While the shows remain integral, I now also take in the importance of everything else that comes with the trips. The solo walks in the city, navigating the subway on my own, finding local shops for inspiration, quiet moments in the park and making time for friends. These days, I find inspiration in other areas of life just as much as I do inside the showrooms.
No longer tethered to the perpetual search for the next trend or brand, my focus has shifted. I contemplate what's best for my particular business and my customers. Our growth since 2012 has been remarkable, yet I now contemplate what it means to grow in a more meaningful way. Mindful, deliberate expansion has become my priority.
This trip, it wasn't about the allure of newness; rather, it was about unearthing the stories behind brands and engaging in intentional dialogues with innovative creators and business owners. I wholeheartedly believe that in this ever-changing landscape, businesses, retailers, and designers with a steadfast commitment to sustainability and community engagement are guiding us toward a more promising future.
The Divine Feminine is the manifestation of the purest form of feminine expression. She is kind, generous, wise, and supportive. A representation of physical and emotional growth, nurturing, healing, and patience!

Vintage dreams do come true 🚪 Today we are welcoming this antique beauty into the shop and already wondering what secrets she holds within. When we opened up the shop into our back room for the permanent jewelry studio, our back wall suddenly felt naked and needed a refresh. It’s all still coming together but this beautiful center piece is exactly what I envisioned. Thanks to The Cottage at Lucketts for this stunner and for helping me treasure hunt in the rain!
