Free King Street Trolley

For making your way along historic King Street in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, there's no easier, quicker way than the Free King Street Trolley. With stops every two blocks from the waterfront to the King St - Old Town Metrorail station, the trolleys provide easy on-off access to the more than 180 shops, restaurants and attractions found on Alexandria's main street.

The King Street Trolley operates according to the following schedule:

Sunday - Wednesday: 10 AM - 10:15 PM
Thursday - Saturday: 10 AM - 12 AM

The Free King Street Trolley runs every 10 minutes between Union Street and the King St - Old Town Metrorail station with stops at the following cross streets (in order from west to east, or toward the waterfront):

Peyton Street (1400 block of King Street)
Fayette Street (1200 block)
Patrick Street (1000 block)
Columbus Street (800 block)
St. Asaph Street (600 block)

Y’all were so fast, we missed the before photo! Thanks to all the volunteers who came out to help us. The truck was packed in no time. We continue to be humbled and thankful for the community that we have. On to the next! Stay tuned for info on our next pop up (June6!) and of course, we will share new location info when we have it!
