Since moving to Alexandria, I have a new appreciation for pineapples and their symbolism. My daughter had her birthday party today with a luau theme and I was pretty excited to try to make a pineapple designed cake. I’m not a baker or very good decorator but it was fun to make this for the party.

One of my friends makes fun of the way I measure things with the length of my arm or height of something on my leg, when I only need an imprecise measurement of fabric or size. However, I’m doing it again here for distance from tree for my flowers to be planted. 🤷🏼‍♀️. What can Isay, it works!!!
