Bike to School Week is here 🚲

We’re excited to partner with ALX Bike Bus to help more families discover what a bike bus can look like in Alexandria.

Join us for:
• Bike to School Day — May 6
• Bike Bus fRIDEday — May 8

A bike bus is a group ride to school led by parents & coordinators, following a set route with pickup points along the way. It’s a safe, connected way for kids to get to school (and a really special way to build community).

If you’ve been curious but unsure where to start, this is your moment.

ALX Bike Bus is offering a free, 2-month safety training for those who want to:

✔ Start a bike bus at their school
✔ Support an existing route
✔ Learn how to ride safely as a group

It’s flexible, beginner-friendly, and can be designed for your schedule.
