It was a struggle this year to stay open. With the flower arrangements brought in from out of state, utilities and taxes, we will just have to see how this year goes. I have got to go up on prices just to keep my head above water. When you buy at Santuck, foreign vendors and basement florist, it may save you $2.00 but it hurts me, the town and all the people that we buy from. It reminds me of when we were trying to keep an industry in town that had fed us all, had to have cheap China stuff. Look what that got us.

Buy from small businesses here in the area. It is a lot easier to make things in your basement or shipped from out of town. We pay rent, utilities and taxes. You may find cheaper, but you won't find better.
