Our lavender looks a little different right now. As we navigate the changing seasons, our lavender undergoes a transformation, departing from its summer bloom. I find this seasonal shift to be valuable. Winter presents an opportunity to reflect on the growing season, analyzing what was successful and what requires improvement, while anticipating the next year. And a break, a stillness a farmer needs to be better for the following year

Yes, we will be at Holly Days tonight (5-8pm) and tomorrow (9am-12pm) in Aledo! We will have culinary lavender samples and all your winter skincare needs, and gifts for this winter season!

You can find mom and I at 108 North College Avenue in downtown Aledo with Blue Barn Farm - RAW HONEY and Joni Caldwell‘s sourdough! Thank you Aledo Main Street for putting us in a beautiful building with beautiful women!

It’s Our Final Weekend at the Flower Farm – Don’t Miss the Magic!

This is it, friends – our last weekend open at Danndee Flowers, and we’re going out with a bloom!

There’s so much happening in Mercer County this weekend, and we’re thrilled to be part of the fun! Visit MerCo Ride 17 Music Festivalis rolling through the countryside, bringing music, joy, and community all along Highway 17 — from New Windsor to New Boston. And right in the heart of it all? Us!

🌻✨ Happy Monday, flower friends! ✨🌻

We’re still smiling from ear to ear after our very first weekend — what an incredible start! The sunshine showed up, the flowers showed off, and YOU—our lovely visitors—made it all so special. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for stopping by and making our opening weekend one to remember.

We’ve got a couple of exciting updates for you:
🧘‍♀️ Yoga Night is THIS Thursday at 6:30 PM!�Come stretch, unwind, and soak in golden hour vibes among the blooms. It's just $20 per person, and it includes a FREE sunflower to take home. The forecast is looking dreamy with temps in the 70s — absolutely perfect for some peaceful farm flow. We still have spots open, or feel free to just show up and pay at the door!

Photographers — this one’s for you!�Despite our best efforts to stagger the sunflower blooms, Mother Nature had her own timeline this summer. Many of our sunflowers decided to show off a little early, so if you're looking for that magical sea-of-sunflowers background, THIS WEEK is your best shot!�We don’t expect a big wave of blooms in September, so don’t miss your chance. Call 309-337-2256 to schedule a time to come out!

Don’t worry — we’ll still have plenty of sunflowers to pick throughout the season, along with all our other gorgeous flowers that are bursting into bloom right now.

Good morning, good morning! Have you seen the weather forecast? It’s absolutely PERFECT for a day at the flower farm — and guess what? Today is our opening day of the season!

The cooler is packed with fresh arrangements, kayaks and paddles are ready, educational signs are on display in the soybean maze, the kids’ playground has a brand new play set, and our store is fully stocked with ALL of your favorite goodies!

PLUS — Raspberries, apples, and flowers are ripe for the picking! 🍎🍓🌻
