Oy! They are trying this again! Please go to this link and contact your congressional representatives wherever you live. Natural and Heritage sites were not preserved so that corporate friends of the sitting president could profit from their destruction.

🚨 BREAKING: The Trump administration is proposing to revoke the 10-mile withdrawal around Chaco Canyon.

Secretary Burgum gave me his word that he would send an official with decision-making authority to conduct in-person, individual tribal consultation with each tribe that has an interest in Chaco Canyon. He has not.

The administration seems hellbent on destroying an irreplaceable historic and cultural landscape that has 4,700 archeological sites that could be lost to the bulldozers of oil and gas development.

They just opened a pathetically short 14-day public comment period— let’s make our voices heard.

Today’s Books in Art discovered in a side hallway on a visit to the Phillips Collection in Washington DC. “Home Lessons “, 1919 by American artist Lilian Westport Hale. Huge canvas- life size! PS very much enjoyed the Miro exhibition which is closing this weekend.
