It felt great to get in the studio today and just create. I filled the kiln with off mandrel hearts in shades of green and silvered ivory.

After over a year of not making time to play in my studio, I have been inspired! Yesterday I turned on my torch and spent over 4 hours working on a new bead design; and, another 3 hours today. Many of you have heard me say, "I don't do sculptural." Well, tada! I'm trying it--still my whimsical style (I don't think I'll ever loose that), but with some playful critters. That's all I can tell you for now. Stay tuned later this month for the big reveal.

It's been almost a year since my last post! How lame is that. I abandoned the new web site. I'm just not that into creating web sites I guess. I have been so busy with my new job and other family things that I haven't even had time to get into the studio and make beads. I will though. I have some cool ideas brewing around some recycle projects with beautiful bottle glass. Thanks for all the likes and love!

This Saturday is the day! The Big Band craft show at La Cueva High School. This is a fun show with over 100 local artists and craftsmen. I will have a booth there and it is my last show of the year. In 2 days the Velocity Craft Fair is happening at Calvary Albuquerque. I hope that you will come out and support the vendors and the kids. This is the Velocity Mid High Group's annual fundraiser. The funds help them to go on retreats and do missions. By coming out and supporting the vendors and buying snacks and raffle tickets, you help the kids. I plan to shop 'til I drop, there are some things that you DO NOT want to miss, crocheted hats, homemade chocolate and Carmel turtles and peanut brittle, plus tons of handmade art! I'll see you there!
