The Poppa Hart primping his 46 Suburban for her day of filming and traveling to the Albuquerque quilt stores. I am one lucky gal to have the best poppa who rarely says no to my crazy ideas, even when they involve chauffeuring me in a car with no AC when it’s 100degrees out 😂🤣.

Welcome to the 2026/2027 Design of the Month! From June 2026 to February 2027 we will release a new 9" raw edge applique block kit on the 2nd Friday of each month. This year's theme is Flora and Fauna of Route 66 so you can expect to see designs that reflect the nature and beauty of each of the 8 states Route 66 runs through. This will be a fun way to celebrate the Centennial anniversary of the historic highway. After we release all 8 blocks there will be a kit to sew them into a quilt.
The blocks are available as kits or PDF downloadable patterns and once the month is over that kit will no longer be available, so you will need to be sure to check back monthly to see the new design and to grab your kit while you can!
Our second block is Cobalt the Eastern Blue Bird nestled on a bead of White Hawthorn Blossoms the state bird and flowers of Missouri, the second state on Route 66.

Show and Tell Block of the Month at Stitchology.

Show and Tell is a 9 month Block of the Month program that begins in September 2026! Starting on September 12th the class will meet on the second Saturday of each month from 10-12*. These forest friends are looking forward to showing off their latest finishes. They are pieced using fat quarters and conventional patchwork techniques! There are no templates or paper piecing. This is a great skill builder project and is appropriate for enthusiastic beginners as well as more advanced quilters.

*November will meet the third Saturday, 11/21 from 10-12.

I'd like to invite you to join us this Saturday, August 1st for our in-person Pins and Needles meeting! This FREE event is held the first Saturday of each month starting at 10:30. It’s a time to meet new sewing buddies, to participate in Sew and Tell, and to pick up new knowledge.
This Saturday’s agenda includes:
*A demo on how to sew a lapped zipper.
*An opportunity for you to show off your current projects. If you made it, we want to see it!
