Happy Pride Month! This is the time of the year in which we celebrate the many faces of love and sexuality, as well as recognize the contributions of q***r folks throughout history.

Join in on our Pride Bingo for the month of June. Pick up a card at the store (or print it out yourself), and expand your understanding by grabbing some books about LGBTQ+ experiences and perspectives!

Turn in a completed card (one filled-in line) by June 30th for a special prize.

Thank you to author Caitlin Rozakis for swinging by to sign her books! We have limited autographed copies of brand new “Startup Hell,” “The Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association,” and “Dreadful.”

Our bookseller Fable says: “If you like characters who are too human to be good or bad and plotlines that are both pure fantasy and entirely relatable, you’ll love the works of Caitlin Rozakis. ‘Dreadful’ is my favorite, but ‘The Grimoire Grammar School Parent Teacher Association’ or ‘Startup Hell’ are also amazing.”

Today, on Memorial Day, we remember those in the armed forces who’ve fallen in the service of our nation.

And while the day isn’t strictly about them, neither should we forget those who returned from war wounded, disabled, or traumatized. For many brave people, the war doesn’t end on the battlefield.

These are a couple of our favorite books about the experiences of veterans, American and otherwise.
