It’s with a heavy heart that I share that my beautiful mother, Debra, passed away on February 27 after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Many of you knew her as the heart behind Apple Mountain Music. She spent over a decade building not just a store, but a community of musicians and friends here in Albuquerque. Your support and connection meant so much to her.
A service will be held at 12:00 PM on March 27 at St. Michael’s and All Angels Episcopal Church (601 Montaño Rd NW).
Thank you all for being part of her life.

At the Big Sur Festival in 1968 Joni purchased a dulcimer made by Joellen Lapidus who is as Joni describes, “a dynamite girl who lives in California”. Joni used this instrument to write four songs on the Blue album: "All I Want," "California," "A Case of You" and "Carey."
