We were thrilled to discover this book that just launched for sale this week!

Fern Schumer Chapman, Author Page, and artist Phoebe Chandler Turner have joined together to create this colorful, delightfully illustrated book that captures how this pandemic disrupts the cherished routine of a grandmother and granddaughter. When the two can see and hear each other electronically, the confused child wonders why she and her grandmother aren't really together.

You can check it out below!

We hope you're all reading tons and enjoying the slowdown life has delivered to us.

Attention book lovers (both near and far)!

We know our current circumstances may have you feeling down, but a good book (or four) can always make life a little better. This is why the Montana Valley Book Store is excited to announce we will be offering Curbside & Mail Order Book Services beginning Thursday, April 2nd!

Here is how the system will work:

Monday-Saturday from 9am-12pm, we will take "orders" over the phone. During your call, you will let us know if you have specific books you're looking for or what types of books you're interested in. We will take your payment over the phone (sorry, we will not be exchanging money and/or credit cards in-person) and have your books ready for you, curbside, at the time discussed during ordering. This same process will also apply to mail order books except instead of curbside we will ship via USPS (shipping costs will apply).

If you call during the designated timeframe and reach our voicemail, leave a message with your name and phone number and we will call you back quickly to get your book order in.

Please, understand, that this is new for us and we will work our hardest to make this an invaluable service for our customers until we are permitted to reopen our doors.

We look forward to brightening these uncertain days through the power of books!

Also, stay tuned in the upcoming days as we bring back our Book of the Day features!
