After several years of collecting vintage items, we made the decision to start a resale business. When choosing a business name it was important to us to glorify God through our work. We chose the name Resurrection and Rust to help remind ourselves, as
well as our patrons, of our Living Savior Jesus Christ. How, through God's grace, we were offered redemption for our sins. The featured verse for Resurrection and Rust comes at the end of Lamentations , Chapter 5, Verse 21 "Turn thou us unto thee, O Lord, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old." In the book of Lamentations, Jeremiah is grieving over the fall of Jerusalem. The people had turned away from God and was met with destruction. Most of us can agree that we as a nation are drawing closer to a similar fate. In our featured verse, it is Jeremiah's wish and our hope that if we turn back to God that He will restore us. It is our desire at Resurrection and Rust to shine God's light and to spread the word that He has offered us all hope and forgiveness through His Son, Jesus.
