The Half Moon Market The Half Moon Market is a weekend-long marketplace event set in Albany's historic Washington Park Lake House.

The Half Moon Market is a unique weekend marketplace event that takes place in Albany's historic Washington Park Lake House. The market is independently organized, with support from the City of Albany as well as the Washington Park Neighborhood Association. The Half Moon Market features over 40 regional makers, artists and small companies offering handmade jewelry, ceramics, stationery, soaps, her

bal apothecary, clothing, leather goods and more, as well as a few local food & drink vendors. The market is named for the Half Moon, the ship sailed by Henry Hudson in 1609. The Half Moon sailed up the river as far as the present day location of Albany, New York.

We are sad to report that our Spring market will be postponed due to the increasingly serious coronavirus outbreak. The City of Albany has temporarily suspended all permits issued to mass gatherings, and we could not agree more that taking measures to protect ourselves and the public against the spread of the virus is the best course of action. Wash your hands everyone, be vigilant about sanitizing shared surfaces, help those who are at higher risk of infection and stay safe out there. We will be in touch shortly with everyone who has already applied. Thank you all and we'll be seeing you soon!
