Burlescents I make & sell soy wax candles, wax melts & specialty candles. We have handmade country decor & wood items. We also have handmade wreaths. Hi!

My name is Garnet Arnold! Burlescents was invented by my mother (Sandy) & I in 2014/2015. My mother is an amazing seamstress. I have a great love for candles. We decided on the name Burlescents because we use burlap on most of our crafts (hince the beginning: Burl-) & then adding scents for the smell of the handmade soy candles (hince the ending: -scents). So together we combined it & made the wor

d Burlescents! We started crafting as a stress reliever. It also helped to divert our attention, which allowed our minds to stay busy & focused on something other than some things our family was going through. It has helped tremendously! My mother makes the majority of the items. She makes decorative wreaths for any occastion. She makes decorative jars with floral arrangements, Christmas stockings, Christmas card holders, decorations for all seasons, etc. I make soy wax candles, wax melts & decorative candles. I have over 60 scents to choose from & I have chosen the colors of each scent myself. I have a brother that can make anything with wood. He will make things for us to set up at craft shows sometimes. I have a second brother that can make wood items also for us to sell. Any of us can do custom orders given the proper amount of time. I am saddened to say that I will not be making candles & wax melts at this time. I suffered a tragic loss in April of my husband & unfortunately have had to make numerous life changes to be able to move forward. Ed’s Glass & More has been very understanding about my current situation. I am unable to continue supplying candles there at this time. They will continue to have the wax melts until my supply runs out. I hope to be able to get back to the candle & wax melt making in the future. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused & appreciate the business from each of you. Thank you all so much! ♥️
