I grew up fishing for Salmon and Steelhead on the South Santiam River and spent over 25 years fishing the Spring Chinook and Summer Steelhead runs that have made the South Santiam an angling favorite. The last 10 years I spent refining my boaters skills and venturing out learning new waters and new techniques. I am one of the hardest working guides you will find when it comes to persistence and preparation. . I’m always researching new techniques and gear for improved results.

Good weekend of kokanee fishing Odell Lake. On the downriggers all weekend chasing fish at 100ft to try to find bigger fish. Fish running 11" to 12" at that depth. Smaller fish at top.

Good first Salmon trip for this season on South Santiam. Couple hatchery Chinook and lost another one.

Nice day up at Detroit last Sunday. Bite wasn't red hot, but we found some nice kokanee. Started on lead getting them ...

Nice day up at Detroit last Sunday. Bite wasn't red hot, but we found some nice kokanee. Started on lead getting them at 40ft. Late morning fish pushed down and got them on the downrigger at 100ft.
