Headquartered in upstate NY, we maintain both a physical shop and an online sales presence. Urban Aftermath is a Bookshop operating out of Albany NY. Our business specializes in new, used, and out of print books and offers an eclectic selection of games, toys, and electronics. Every item we offer is meticulously listed with an accurate product description and carefully stored in our warehouse until sold. Once purchased, items are expertly packaged and are often shipped the same day.

Our bookshop has been in operation since 2015. Eleven years of hauling boxes, building shelves, chasing stories, and keeping a peculiar little world alive.

A place like this is more than a store. It is an accumulation of accidents and intentions… thousands of books that somehow ended up in the same room, conversation between strangers, a song on the record player, a piece of art on the wall, a memory waiting to happen.

The truth about places like ours is that they are rare and fragile. Neighborhoods change. Lives change. Collections disperse. The people who make a place what it is eventually move on.

For now, the lights are on, the shelves are stacked, and there are still countless stories waiting to be discovered.
