Can you believe we are 4 days into the New Year? 😲

Thank God we are alive, and with His help, we are ready to thrive!

I don’t know about you, but 2024 has come with its fair share of trials, tests, disappointments, and challenges. But I believe it was all necessary. As Jesus says in John 15, "I am the vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes." God allows us to go through seasons of testing because He wants to bring us to a place of spiritual maturity. Growth in Christ is essential; you cannot remain connected to Him and not grow. WE MUST GROW!!!!!

Sometimes, God allows us to face hardships in order to draw us into a deeper place of intimacy with Him and strengthen our faith and spiritual endurance. James 1:2-4 (The Message) reminds us: "Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way."

As difficult as it may be, we must allow the trials to do their work in us. God, in His sovereignty, knew exactly what we needed in this season to prepare us for what’s ahead. The trials of 2024 have helped us grow in maturity and faith, equipping us to thrive and be effective in this new year.

It wasn’t an easy year for me, but it was a fruitful one because I chose to stand firm through every challenge and setback. And I believe you did the same, because you are still here, in your right mind, by God's grace. He has shown Himself faithful, time and again, as Jehovah Jireh—our Provider—in so many ways, and for that, I am deeply grateful.

As we navigate this spiritual journey, I pray that this year brings us even more blessings, growth, and victory in Christ. May His strength be made perfect in our weaknesses, and may we continue to trust in His plans for our lives. We are ready to thrive!🙏🏿🙏🏿
