Hello everyone!

I know i'm not super popular yet but if you haven't been able to find my page, its because it was bombarded with scam buyers and my phone was blowing up like crazy so i turned the page off.

Let me clarify that i will not be doing customs anymore.

I am going to take this year to really stock up on my plushies and work out some kinks.

Hello everyone!

I have been working on some newer patters I've purchased on etsy and have been working to get a few things caught up.

I have a priority tho, i've been crocheting plushies for a stand my sister helps with. Its a charity focused around breast cancer. it has been such a nice thing to give back, I have a few more to make for their next stand and then i should be back to working on more plushies.

I am going to remain sort of quiet till next year tho, that's the bigger news. The holidays get away from me being back to back to back so i thought i would work on plushies for those seasons so i can work ahead instead of rushing to get themed work done.

Crossing my fingers that by January i have all my ducks in a row so to speak.

I would like some feedback from everyone!

I have never had any rude comments about my pricing thus far but I'm trying to get a good grip on how you all would react if i priced them the way i should, based on time, cost of materials, and of course the taxes i need to collect for the sales.

I am going to use my standard size bee for an example for this post.

Cost of materials- yarn, stuffing, eyes + $0.50

Cost of my time - 27 minutes x $0.25/min (this is usual starting wage if you do the math) =$5.40

tax is 30% of the total price- 5.90 x 0.3 = 1.62

if you put it all together 7.52

I had these marked at $4 at yesterdays market.

This is where the concern comes in. I LOVE making plushies and going to markets so much. I pour myself into every project trying to get a variety stocked up in time for the markets i attend. But if something small, like this bee, is this much, then my other projects that have the more expensive yarn will be much higher because the prices have gone up from last year a pretty big amount. I honestly can't keep selling at a loss because of this fact.

So i want to know what you all think. would you still buy from my stand?

Hi everyone!

I am getting prepped and ready to go for Living History Day tomorrow! I can't wait to see everyone there!

This year i have more critters made from basic acrylic yarn and a few blanket yarn critters. I have put so much time and love into these little babies and i can not wait to see them find their forever homes! :)

Man oh man have I been behind!

Between mental health related reasons and trying to get some internal damage done by the storm last year fixed, its been quite a busy time.

I am sorry to all of you who look to my page that i've not been updating as frequently as some pages will. I have been making plushies but I have not gotten photos done yet to show you, this is on my to do list, along with several other things.

I was hoping to do the market on Thursday here in Albany but its not worked out for me to attend for one reason or another so i think i'm just going withdraw my statement about doing the market this year.

Summer is just so dang busy!

That being said, I hope to have things back up and going smoothly before September when i do my king city vend so you all can see what i've been working on and what is available.

Again I am so sorry for being so random with posts.

Hello everyone! Happy May!

I hope the last few months have been good to you all. Thankfully the pain in my hands turned out to be linked to my neck and not carpal tunnel so very good news and I've been working on some experimental patterns and trying new ideas out.

I am sorry I've been so inactive, rest assured i have some cuties ready to post soon and I'm also thinking about participating on the square here in Albany for the farmers market this year!

I have also put some work into how i want to market my critters this year and trying to track the time i spend making the items, so when you see the new pricing, know i'm accounting for materials, time and tax. Up untill now my prices have either broken even or at a loss, so naturally i have to mark up but not super large amounts.

I hope this post reaches everyone ok and i look forward to posting more in the future and participating in vends!

welp, now i've done it. Gunna have to take a break from my little critters for a while everyone, seems that i pushed to hard trying to get new patterns made up and now my wrist is throwing fits. I think i'm going to be out for a bit, but hey, at least i don't need a brace like some people do when this happens..... yet... lol

anyways, wanted to give an update, wish everyone a late happy thanksgiving and in case i'm not back to post again before then, Merry Christmas, happy holidays, happy new year and i hope everyone gets to their families safe, sound, warm and happy :)

Hi everyone!!
Hope your week has been great!
I just wanted to post a little something now that vend season for me is going and I have had some new orders and like on the page.

First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

I never really thought about crochet becoming anything for me, it was one of those happy little accidents everyone references to. before last year, I barely touched my yarn and hooks, but oh man after I made my first little set of octo babies, the feedback and requests were just... it put me over the moon! The likes, the feedback, the complements, conversations... it all is a huge deal to me and I just want to thank you all!

Second, I just wanted to address the fact that my page has been pretty low activity. I know you all will understand when i say that life just chucks those lemons at you harder than other days. I have had so much happen this year and the page has been so far off my radar due to it. Finally though, things are calming down (at least till the "blink and its new years" phenomena happens), and I want to put more effort into my page and letting my clients or future clients or just admirers, what I am working on, list critters when i get them done so they can be adopted out. :)
