Happy Tuesday. What’s on your crochet hook or knitting needles today? I’m trying to learn to knit. I’ve managed to learn to cast on. It’s not pretty 🤪. Now I just have to figure out what to do next. Luckily, Yarn & Beyond has a knitting instructor. Her classes will start in September. Crochet classes are going on every weekend in July and August. 15.00 per class, 10.00 for optional starter kit. Saturdays Session A: 10:30-11:30, Session B: 2:00-300pm, Sundays 2:00-3:00pm.

Jimmy and I would like to say thank you to everyone who came in today for our first crochet sessions. I love to pass on the craft. At the beginning it is difficult trying to get all your fingers to do something they haven’t done before. But I promise with practice and patience you will get there. I hope to see you all again. I hope see new faces, too. 🧶

Hey, everyone. Don’t forget about the crochet classes starting tomorrow at 10:30-11:30. Cost is $15.00 , optional starter kit $10.00. If you have your own hook and yarn, please bring them to class. Next session will be 2:00-3:00 and on Sunday 2:00-3:00. Each class is a come when you can and pay as you go. I can’t wait to see all of you crafters.

To all of our wonderful customers, I ask for your patience and understanding. This is still very new to me and my husband. We are learning as we go. I would like to answer the question regarding sign up sheets. I was hoping that my website would be up but it is still being worked. So, yes, please come in to the studio and sign up for the class time that you think you will attend. There may have to be a cap on attendance for those times. When you come in to sign up, you can pay then or wait until your class time. We explain the punch cards at that time.

Are you interested in learning to crochet? Are you a self-taught crocheter and would like to improve on what you know?
Yarn & Beyond Craft Studio will be offering crochet classes on the following schedule
Classes with a punch card:
First class is $25 (optional kit is $10 which includes yarn, hook, stitch markers, tape measure, scissors, tapestry needle, printouts of pattern, printout of pocket guide). If you have your own hooks and yarn, bring it to class. Every class after that is $15 and will always include one on one instruction.

Each lesson gives you a punch on the card, and your 7th class will be free! You will need to present your punch card and payment at the register when you attend the session.

Students can drop in during store hours any time and crochet with the owner/instructor or a group of fellow crocheters to gain experience and develop skills within the community atmosphere

Class Calander: You can choose your time to attend.
Every Saturday in July beginning July 11, 2026
Session A: 10:30-11:30 am
Session B: 2:00-3:00pm

Every Sunday in July beginning July 12, 2026
Session C: 2:00-3:00pm

Special Note: Saturday, July 25, 2026 a special event will be happening at the same time as classes. Details to follow
