Today 3/10/25 the gorgeous morning view begs to have Hawgs jumping out of the water to tug your 40lb braid loaded on your favorite Reel Time Rod. To all who are headed out on the water today I wish you an awesome and over-active fishing day fulfilling that glorious dream that many of us have (10lb catch).

Today Monday February 24, 2025 I do not know if the fog is hiding the fishermen (already on an early start on the water) so that no one can see the secret spot for mega bass or if the mega bass is using the fog to hide 🙈 from the early morning fishermen or nature is holding the fishermen in suspense of the wonderful things to occur today. I say all of this to explain that the wonderful things to occur today are dependent upon whether or not you are using freshly procured “Magic Reaction” from Reel Time Rods to treat your soft plastics and whether or not you are tying that treated soft plastic onto a custom built rod from Reel Time Rods. I am just saying those are the choices for success.

OLD Man winter is abound at Lake Fork, Texas dealing out a chill to the bones. It may be getting in the way of many of the fishing trips to the lake but that is OK for it just heightens the excitement. Reel Time Rods will still be here waiting for warmer weather and boats galore slipping into the shop to pick up some “Magic Reaction”, another custom rod, or some expert advice provided by the guides. Yesterday was a bone chilling morning that made you want to stay in and have another cup of hot coffee. But today is a raging sky that says get away from the coffee table and by- dang go fishing for the Lake Fork Hawg Hunt is onnnnn!

It may be a slow going at the little mustang launch ramp this am but it will not be long before the ol’ cronies show to hit the water at a chance to snag a 10 + pounder out these treasured waters. Of course it calls for a stop and visit at Reel Time Rods shop and maybe even pickup some magic reaction. Good Luck!

OOPs not a good start for The Eclipse Extravaganza expected today! It will no doubt get better ❤️‍🩹 as the morning progresses forward.
But heck look at it this way, the early morning wackey, weightless fluke or senco, top water bait, buzz bait, or the majestic frog bite has to be oooon! That is what I am talking about!!!

Well all the preparation is done, all the secret fishing holes are waypointed, so now all these fisherpersons have to do is get launched and establish full security on that secret spot for 6:30 am cast off for the mega or media tournament. Good fishing and please return safely to dry land for we do wish to see you back in the rod shop when you have a spare moment
