Finished a fantasy themed knife for a customer. They wanted a outdoor knife that was inspired by the design of Legolas the warrior elf's short swords in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films. The originals are 2 feet long and slender, so I beefed up and shortened this one to be more of a bushcraft/outdoor knife in size (12 inches). This was only my second attempt at etching a design. The etch was deep but hard to control with the acid. I am happy with how it turned out and I think they are too.
