Forgot to give you all a wrap up post. Tuesday was my last day in Iceland. I absolutely loved every minute of it. It’s funny when you think of going there bc it’s this pretty tiny country and your expectations are fairly low key (not low, just that it’s going to be chill compared to other European adventures). And it is low key. And high key. Every part of the country is completely different from the next. I felt like I was in a fairy tale or on another planet so many times. Never really thought I’d be standing in literal volcanoes then swimming in the blue lagoon, hanging in a geothermal power plant and then seeing rainbows over a waterfall. Rocks and birds and whales. Running into the north Atlantic ocean and running through lava formations. If you get the chance, go. Don’t even hesitate.
