Candy apples MUST be ordered in advance.
It takes 2 days to clean and prep them before you can candy them. 🍏 🍏 🍏
Day 1: boil the apples for 8-10 seconds in water, apple cider vinegar, and baking soda. This removes the wax off of them.
Put them directly into an ice bath for 30-60 minutes to stop the cooking process. Dry them all off and put them on baking sheet and let them sit.
Day 2: they begin leaking sap and will need to be wiped down multiple times throughout the day before you begin the candying process. 🍬 🍭 🍬
