Thinking of selling your creations at the Mercado? We always welcome new vendors, whether they are year-round area residents or just with us for the season. You don’t have to sell every weekend, but we have a few things to cover before you start.
STEP ONE: Take a look at our product guideline: We accept vendors who offer homemade food items and baked goods (with proper Pima Co. health department licensing and labeling), locally grown and identified plants, vegetables and farm-raised goods (i.e. eggs), handmade arts and crafts, self-authored books, one-of-a kind vintage/antique items, or items uniquely designed by you if produced in quantity. Items not permitted include general wholesale-resale items, flea market/garage sale type used items, drug paraphernalia, illegal items, or items of profane or pornographic nature.
STEP TWO: Send a note to us at [email protected]. Let us know your name, phone number, email address, and give us a brief description of the products you have to offer the public. We’d love to see a picture or two of your items if possible.
STEP THREE: One of our committee members will contact you, send you an agreement to read and sign. Once we have that, we’ll help you navigate your first Saturday’s set up.
