K-5 Enterprises K-5 has been in business since 1987. Carol, Tony, and TJ are here to serve you. K-5 Enterprises, Inc (a.k.a.

RadioShack) was started on June 1, 1987 as a Sear's Catalog Center and RadioShack Dealer. The name "K5" was inspired by the five Klinefelter's who worked for the business; Bud, Carol, Farren, Kord, and Concha. Tony Montes came into the family as a son-in-law and has worked with Carol from the beginning. After the Phelps Dodge mine shut down in the late 80's and businesses began a sharp decline in

the community, K-5 Enterprises remained dedicated to serving the local population. Even though in the Spring of 1993, the Sears catalog division closed it's doors, K5 continued providing various generations of technology, selling and installing Whirlpool appliances (free delivery within 15 miles), shipping for UPS, copies and a fax service. If you bought it from K5 we'll take care of you in keeping with our motto, "We service what we sell."
