We propagate our plants by grafting, budding, seed, divisions, and cuttings. We also represent the finest wholesale nurseries such as Dave Wilson, Briggs, Northwoods, Starks, Hartmanns, Agri-starts, North American Plants, Fall Creek, Spring Meadow and L.E.Cooke. Say hello to the Honeyberry!! (also known as Haskap)! 🫐✨
These „blueberries of the north“ are becoming a favorite for gardeners because they are incredibly cold-hardy—sometimes surviving temperatures as low as -40•F. They are often the very first fruit to ripen in the spring, even earlier than strawberries!
Why add Haskaps to your garden?

Unique Flavor: A delightful cross between a blueberry, raspberry, and a hint of sour.

Easy to Grow: They aren’t picky about soil pH like blueberries are, making them much easier for the average home gardener. And they can tolerate even colder growing zones quite well.

Nutrient Dense: Packed with antioxidants and Vitamin C.

Compact Beauty: Their neat, shrubby growing habit makes them perfect for edible hedges or small spaces.

Honeyberries need a „buddy“ to produce fruit! Make sure to plant two different varieties that bloom at the same time to ensure cross-pollination and a heavy harvest.

Ready to harvest a medicinal powerhouse in your own backyard? 🌿✨
Meet the John’s American Elderberry (Sambucus canadensis). This variety is a top choice for growers who want a heavy harvest, producing massive clusters of berries earlier in the season than many other cultivars.
Not only does it offer beautiful, creamy-white flower heads in late spring, but the dark purple berries are perfect for making immune-boosting syrups, and more.
Quick Stats for Your Garden:
✅ Growth: Robust and vigorous, reaching 6-12 feet tall.
✅ Resilience: Excellent pest and disease resistance.
✅ Pollination: For the best fruit set, pair it with another American variety.
✅ Hardiness: Thrives in USDA Zones 3-9.

Concord grapes are famous for their use in Welch’s products. They are disease-resistant and easier to grow compared to most other grape varieties. While they may require extra care to achieve the perfect appearance like store-bought grapes, they are great for home use. Space the plants 8-10 feet apart on a trellis, with 10 feet between rows. Grape clusters can also be bagged for added protection. Suitable for Zones 5-7a.

Jeanne is a late-ripening, dark red dessert gooseberry of unknown European origin. It was observed for 24 years at the USDA National Germplasm Repository in Corvallis, Oregon, though its history before that remains undocumented. This cultivar was named in honor of the late Ms. Cheryl Jeanne Gunning, who worked in the NCGR tissue culture laboratory from 1981 to 1985.

Bloom Time: Buds break late, with full bloom occurring about one to two weeks after Invicta.
Ripening Period: Fruit ripens from mid to late July, about a week later than Invicta, and remains ripe for about one week.
Fruit Characteristics:
Deep red when fully ripe
Weighs approximately 5.0g per berry (7-year average)
Smaller than Invicta but large for a red-fruited gooseberry
Full, sweet flavor
Higher yield than many other gooseberry varieties
Growth Habit: Somewhat spreading, reaching 5’ in height and width, with single nodal thorns.
Disease & Pest Resistance:
Highly resistant to powdery mildew and white pine blister rust
Less susceptible to aphid damage and sawfly defoliation than other European gooseberries
Some black leaf spot may appear in summer, but it does not cause significant plant damage
Best Use: Recommended for home gardens or commercial gooseberry production, particularly in the Pacific Northwest and other temperate climates. Its disease resistance and high fruit quality make it an excellent choice for organic production, potentially extending the red gooseberry harvest season.
